Psychotherapy and Art Therapy for Children, Adolescents and Adults
In my practice, I have seen many people go through positive transitions as a result of therapy. My approach is gentle, non-judgmental, supportive and empowering. I specialize in working with clients dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, highly sensitive nature, eating disorders, separation and divorce, school and work-related issues, family and relationship concerns, behavioural and emotional issues, and self-esteem and confidence building.
I am passionate about helping clients navigate their issues and concerns, to develop skills and strategies towards achieving their goals and a greater quality of life. This may include improving interpersonal skills, resolving conflicts, strengthening relationships, reducing stress, increasing self-esteem and self-awareness, managing emotions and behaviours, and enhancing or learning new coping strategies.
I offer a client centred and strengths based approach in my work with clients, drawing on my many years of expertise and training in Art Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness, Psychodynamic Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Trauma Informed Approaches.
I am currently meeting with clients virtually via online video and telephone sessions. I will be resuming in-person sessions at my Bayview and Eglinton office once the COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted.
